This is my first post -- Hello everybody!

And this is the first thread I'm reading (since officially registered -- I did read several others before, which made me want to join). And I can't help wanting to put in my 2 cents' worth!

So here goes: I like the rule. 10 posts? I find it difficult to see how anyone could consider that an actual stumbling block, let alone a forbidding obstacle.

As a newbie, I plan to read lots of posts as I get to know more about you all and learn lots in the process, and when I have something to say, I'll respond.

Without even trying, I'm sure I'll have the requisite 10 posts and then some in no time flat. And anyone with any real interest in copywriting should find it equally easy. So what if I'll "have to wait" for a few days until I can post my signature.

I'm happy to have found this forum and look forward to becoming a part of this community.

Elisabeth

It's always a challenge re forum moderation; it may be useful to test a 100-post minimum before sigs allowed vs 10 etc.. and/or limit the sig lines to a single line or two, 70-chars, and/or monetize by charging for sigs if needed someday. Great point to keep the board clean from low-content low-value spammers/self promoters, agree.

Greetings, all!

I'm a new member and this is my first post here. The no-spam policy is a good great one. I have seen other boards decline when their forums became little more than spamfests. I am delighted to find that this won't happen here. As a former technical writer, programmer, and healthcare software sales and marketing entrepreneur, I'm here to learn all I can about the copywriters art. This old dog is learning new tricks and re-inventing himself. I keep a couple throw-away email accounts to collect the spam

The 10 post rule is reasonable.

Mike

Hello, I'm looking for a copywriter to do some content for my website. Unfortunately, I have to have 10 posts prior to being able to add a new thread about the job.

It's for topcruiseclub.com

I need about 20 - 25 pages done about the different ships and destinations. I have all the keywords we need included for SEO already done.
