After asking the question of the forum members, I decided to add a forum... without adding one at all.

You see, the old "general" forum and "copywriting" forum were confusing. What is general, and what is specific? My original intent was that "general" meant anything about copywriting, but not copywriting-specific -- such as marketing for copywriters, the business of copywriting, etc.

But this got very confusing.

So I decided to merge both forums, and expanded on the off-topic one. That is, ANYTHING that has to do with copywriting, post it in the now single "general discussion." Anything that has NOTHING to do with copywriting, post it in the off-topic one.

If it's marketing in general, then it goes in the off-topic. But if it's marketing for copywriters specifically, then it goes in the general.

In the near future, I will re-split the forum, depending on a few things. But I won't split it into seperate forums but into sub-forums, such as subfolders. Like online vs. offline copy, etc.

For now, let's wait and see how this works out.
