OK, in response to Andy's thread about board MVP, here are the nominees for board members of the month of August 2006. For more visit Andy's thread here:

The nominees are selected according to top posters of the month. Polls closes September 15th (mid-month).

You can also choose more than one, by the way, if you believe it's a tie between two or more people. However, you can only vote once. So please select your most valuable poster(s), and choose wisely!

I voted, but couldn't vote for my favorite, cause he wasn't on the roster.

... so I voted for my second choice... gee, I wonder who "that" could be?

My aim when I thought of this was to just give public props to folks who have really given to this community.

And hopefully, to encourage others to contribute.

I realize some folks may not want to play. That's cool.

I actually misunderstood and thought I could vote a couple times. I voted for myself, then was going to go back and vote for a couple other people, but then figured out that I couldn't.

I'm just glad someone voted for me. I don't think I'm the most helpful on the board.

I had to drop a vote for the Algerian Guru.

Abdellah has graced this board with the most random
perspective that I've seen in a long time.

He makes me feel like I'm reading some Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh,
and I like that.
