Most traditional business seminars are too dry and boring as far as I'm concerned. I'd love to mix up some business with some extreme sports like Yanik is doing - but maybe I'm just nuts.

Like Suzanne mentioned, many great business deals are hatched on the golf course, and I'm sure the same goes for Yanik's get togethers.

racing Dune Buggies in a heartbeat.

Heck, in fact, I thought it was such a damn cool idea
I promoted it to my peoples without even caring about
a commission.

Looked like a freaking blast!

And all the business partners I've been so lucky to become
buddy buddy with happened because of fun events like this.
It was almost never because of anything marketing related.

It was always just a bunch of us dudes acting like 16 year olds.
I'm not against having fun, but I'm quite picky with choosing NEW friends. I like genuine people, don't want any rotten eggs or surprises. I know you have said that about Kern to, that he is a good guy, and I beleive you, I beleive you are a good guy too.

Whoever I don't see the fun in doing a "Triathlon" in the sort of things on that web page.

Yes, the No gravity air... looks way fun..

The rest, something like bungi-jumping is just stupid, risking your life like that. No way, why would I?

Anyways, I maybe could shut my mouth, I never been on any seminar and don't know the kind of people on them. I feel like an 16 year old sometimes so maybe I need to try that whole thing and finding like minded people that feels like they are 16 when they are much older.

I'm Max to the T, over and out.

Peace

All I was saying is just because you run a business doesn't mean that you think it's fun to run that business. Yes, it helps to think that what you do is fun or have passion and find meaning in what you do.

Can't they just have fun cracking some jokes on the business meeting??

Know what I mean??

I feel sorry for you if you don't believe people can work hard and play hard at the same time. Try it. Find the right people and you'll love it.

I was honored to be on the first Maverick Business Adventures event in Baja. I can honestly say I have never been with a group of people who have so much fun AND could be totally focused on learning, sharing and helping each other, then this group of Maverick entrepreneurs.

Plus Maverick members are dedicated to giving back via $$ donations and by teaching their wisdom to help the next generation of young aspiring entrepreneurs. Truly a remarkable group of average people who excelled in business and are living life fully.

Uh, yeah, okay, whatever.

Who said "money only comes from happiness?" I didn't. I don't think Yanik did. In fact, I don't even know what that means. Do you? Again, you make no sense. You also seem to think you have a pretty good idea how Yanik lives his life or what his personal philosophy is. I certainly don't know what it is and I don't think you do either. Again, seems like sour grapes to me.

By the way, I find it funny that you would judge Yanik or the idea he has based on his marketing pitch - aren't you the guy who was promoting the get laid material not so long ago? Maybe you should take a look in the mirror before you start judging others.

Personally, I see nothing wrong with this pitch, and can't for the life of me see why anyone else would either. Especially when you compare it to a pitch for "how to get laid" material. That's all I gotta say about that.

These guys all seem like fake business people to me, and it looks sooooooo boring...

Maverick Baja Trip

Gosh, give me a pitchfest in a crappy hotel over this any day.

The first one was awesome... there was no problem
both having a great time and getting extraordinary
value business-wise at the same time.

Being in a relaxed setting is actually conducive to
talking about what's really happening in your
business... as opposed to a lot of the huffing and
puffing that goes on at a typical seminar.

I wouldn't mind going on the one in Vegas... but I'm
having too much fun in Rio

Great to see you on the board Tim... hope the next
adventure is as much fun as the last one!

-Brian

I don't think Yanik is going to have a problem looking back and regret not spending time with his family. He sees them every day. He works from home (when he works). He is with his family more than 99% of all other American men.
