Default An Interesting Looking Web Menu - 05-07-2008, 12:10 PM

The menu kind of reminds me of Vista's 3D flip...

Very cool.

Works nice when you mouse over it too.

Kudos to the web designer.

Yea I liked that site.

Made a nice change from the "usual" stuff.

Looks great when the main attraction is the menu.

It took pretty long to load up...I wouldn't opt for something like that on a functioning website. Like all the flash sites, I don't see this kind of thing selling something. And even if it did, I doubt the SE would like it.

I like flash sites that load fast. This one loads quickly and is pretty cool.

MCBD

When it comes up hit the "creative" button.

Then the 2nd picture. (You'll probably have to select it twice.)

Then select "print" (on the left side of the picture).

A 3D flip menu come up. Flip through them. Select one. I selected the one with the 5 women (silk and lace). The ad goes full screen.

I can see a copywriter having a website similar to this (but simplier). It would be a unique way of showing their samples and it would be a unique way for a copywriter to stand out from the crowd.

This is the kind of stuff I like about the current web... with some very clever interfaces it becomes much more interesting and immersive. It gives the web so much more dimension than most sites do (albeit with different objectives).

In the same way, I love the PicLens extension for Firefox, and the way it handles photo galleries... very clever work!

I did enjoy the picture of the gorgeous models in their lingerie.

P.S. Great to see that the site is from the UK as well
