Actually I need to thank you. Until I read this thread, I had never thought about validating my blogs. DUH! I've done if on my sites, but not the blogs. Maybe I was just believing the designer did it "right".
I am no WP expert, CSS either for that matter, but once I started editing my theme's, it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. If you look at theme templates, they are really just numerous calls to WP functions. You can take them out, replace them and sometimes change them.
Most every theme I get, I change a good part of it, most are not very well
SEO'ed fr my tastes, plus I like to change the look as much as I can. My only problem is the CSS. I can do the basic's but when it comes to CSS layout, I can't always get the theme's to do what I want.
Even though it's obvious, the best place to get help editing your theme's is wordpress.org. Everything I've searched for, I've found a solution. So many very helpful people there.
