Default Lurker's "Nice" Awards - 05-05-2008, 09:57 PM

I love this forum!

And I admit it, I'm a lurker. I read too much, and I don't contribute.

I guess I am sort of intimidated, and I don't feel like I have much to offer to the pros who hang out here, so I just continue to read and enjoy.

So today I will offer, lightheartedly and for fun, a few of my impressions about some of our beloved forum celebrities:

The "Nice" Awards

Holy cow, the following people are so amazingly nice and helpful, it blows my mind. I often find myself wondering whether with my frail bank account I can afford to just randomly send these people a few hundred dollars just because they are so awesome.

These people seem to be dripping with integrity and kindness:

Marcia Yudkin
Michael Winicki
Stephen Davies
Ricky Breslin
Timothy Warnock
John Ritz
Kyle Tully
Chris Custer
Andrew Cavanaugh
Dean Kennedy

There are people I'm forgetting. Anyone else care to make some nominations?

OK, now some more fun "awards". No I am not at all qualified to give these awards. I just wanted to spread some compliments and thanks!

The "Most Consistent Image" Award

Michel Fortin

Hands down. He should be at the top of the nice awards too, but the overwhelming impression I get from him is his impeccably consistent and professional image. The man is a major brand.

The "Funniest" Award

NebulousX

Man that guy always cracks me up. Search and take a look at the picture he posted of his office.

The "Watch the F*** Out This Guy Will Bring The FTC Down On You Before You Can Say Day Trader" Award

Note: This award also doubles as The "I Hope He Has a Sense of Humor" Award and also The "Exudes Competence and Intelligence" Award

Ken Calhoun

And last, for now, but never least....

The "Superhero" Award

He has special powers, and few know his identity. He is there to save the day, yet most fear him just enough to make him mysterious...

He's:

Mr. Subtle

Have a great day everybody! Thanks for everything you do here.

PS. Please, you too. Give us some more positive awards!

Dude, I'm honored. Glad to entertain you. But I'm sorry to disappoint you too. The guy I was hosting my office pic with deleted it so they can't see it.

And, Ive cleaned the place up. I have been doing a little reading though. Here's a recent snapshot:

I'll nominate myself - because errrr because....

It's what marketing is all about.

Seriously Music - you can join us all - you don't have to lurk.

As you've just seen - your post cheered everyone up - and I'm betting it made many peoples day.

So please don't in any way feel intimidated.

The board is for everyone.

Steve

OK, that made me smile Mr. Subtle.

And Bruce makes me laugh all the time, too. You've made grand choices MusicCity. Thanks for coming out of lurkdom and naming the CB reality show characters.
