I get all my voice mails via email attachments. When I click them ... it launches iTunes, my default MP3 player.

Does anyone know of an MP3 player that's lite and fast, and that runs inside Outlook 2007 to play attached MP3 files without launching another program?

Ideally it would be similar to "Podpress" (if you use that in wordpress you know what I mean) and simply offer an arrow/streaming thing right there in Outlook.

I'll keep any eye open for you, but I've looked at lots of mp3 players over the years and have yet to see something do what you want.

What about making Windows Media player your default - maybe that would open a little quicker?

Or you could get a MAC which will play your files in Mail for you.

I bought a macbook but haven't used half the functions

JP, I suggest you go with an old or light version of Winamp, it's much smaller and faster than iTunes (if you use one of the older versions of winamp you should get great results, those things worked pretty fast even on pentium 200's). I think it'll be difficult to get an mp3 player integrated in outlook.

Neither have I really, but I know when I've received some audio files in the mail that a little quick time play button has appeared in the message itself.

Actually, I just tested it on myself and sent an mp3 to my MAC account and the QT player appeared at the bottom of the message, so it works alright!
