Yesterday I thought I was 42 then someone reminded me I'm 43. Memory is over...um...over...something. Um what was I talking about?

If I had a dime for every retail store that "got it" I'd owe $6,139,420.40.

Hey Kawika,

Funny thing, I had the opposite problem. I keep thinking I'm 45 and then remember that I'm still a whole lot younger at 44! Guess it will be true soon enough anyway. I think it's high time I started counting backwards...which means that in about 25 years I will be back in my prime! Can't wait...

I have been tricking myself into thinking that I'm 29 for the past three months.... but I'm only 28. I've been trying to trick myself with the hope that my 29th birthday won't feel so dramatic.

Hi Lee, I meant to reply earlier. I remember seeing some chart where they show the happiness factor where men hit a low in their 40's and women in their 30's then we're all happy again by the time we're 50. I guess we just got to persevere to get through to the other side. I'm actually happier in my 40's for some reason. I think I troughed too soon. I wish you the best.

36 and single and so GLAD I'm not in my 20s anymore. I love being in my 30s. I'm loving my freelance adventure and I'm glad my non-profiteer career is behind me--chapter closed!

I'm 35. I had everything in place to throw a huge party to celebrate, but it got put on hold when my eldest son got sick, so it turned out the highlight of the day was seeing the cake that the bimbette at work figured was funny - It said older than dirt and featured a shovel...

I have no problem celebrating my grey hairs...I earned every single one the hard way. (Of course, it's a rather private celebration since 90% of the time I am too vain to let them show in public)

I don't know about that happiness scale...I'm happier in my 30's than I was in my 20's.
