I know many of you on this forum have businesses other than copywriting.

Share with us, what is your business and why did you start it? I feel sharing this with the forum will give others the inspiration to start a business and follow their dreams.

I'll go first.

My website, GuruKnowledge.org is a new Internet marketing website featuring the top Internet Marketing experts on the planet, in virtually every category of Internet marketing including: advertising, blogs, copywriting, ebay, e-mail, ezines, marketing, public relations, publishing, RSS, SEO, traffic, WAHM, web programming and the list goes on and on!

I created GuruKnowledge.org because unfortunately, there are a lot of "wannabe" or "so-called" Internet Marketing experts proliferating the Internet, dispensing inaccurate or in most cases, just plain wrong information.

I was sick and tired of Internet Marketing newbies getting started off on the wrong foot, or getting ripped off!

So much of the information being sold out there is neither helpful nor real, for the most part. Most people selling "how to make money on the Internet" have never made a dime on the Internet except for selling ..."how to make money on the Internet crap".

My website provides the best and most accurate information available, by some of the most famous Internet marketers on the planet.

Part time Wedding DJ...on the weekends when my wife will let me out. My last gig was a big hit, but while I was gone my stupid dog chose then to have pups. So my wife had to handle the whole thing while trying to take care of the 6 kids. Chewed my a$ out for that one. I think I'm grounded for a while.

I'm also a freelance writer.

I still fix printers on the side for friends (BTW, if anyone out there is still using inkjets for running off proofs etc, get out of dodge. Buy a HP Laserjet 5si from ebay, a cheap refilled cartridge, and you can run like a gazillion prints for the price of paper.)

I started my busines because I wanted to be home with the kids. My first business was offline (a medical transcription service), which I started in 1997. I sold that about 4 years ago and got into internet marketing I think nearly 3 years ago.

I have some affiliate sites, a PLR membership site, a network of websites for mothers and most recently my time and energy is focused on All Custom Content. It's all going very well, but it sure was hard work at the beginning!

How do they find the time?

Yes, IBmoms and the other forums I frequent send me a lot of targeted traffic that converts.

Anyway, to answer your question, next month, I'll be celebrating my first year online. I was truly blessed to have a successful year.

I'm very proud of the quality and quantity of the content on my site. People are constantly telling me how much they've been helped by my information.

I'm really excited about the coming months. In addition to launching a brand new website, I also have a lot of amazing surprises in store for my readers.
