Default Disappearance of some moderators... - 03-18-2007, 11:21 AM

Hey what happened to Peter Stone, B-Lowe and Timothy Warknock who are moderators of this forum?

I haven't seen them for quite a while...

Have they disappeared?

PS: I think Michel should strip them off their moderator's title... heck, what have they contributed?

I was kinda SHOCKED when I learnt that there are 10 moderators in this forum...

The fault isn't with me...

In almost every thread that I've visited, only a handful of moderators "show up"

What happened to the rest?

The 10 Moderators

1. janebert (I am giving her a half/half coz her name somehow sounds familiar)
2. JP Maroney
3. drkilstein
4. Peter (OMG! Is he still "around"?)
5. Michel Fortin (exempted!)
6. Timothy Warnock (Knocked off during a war?)
7. B-Lowe (This nickname is perhaps the most bizarre!)
8. Erik Mulder
9. Alan Forrest Smith
10. Stephen Davies

Hey newbies of this forum, aren't you starting to "see" things suddenly appearing?

But the fact of the matter is that there are "some" names on the list that are almost "unheard" of...

(That kinda reminds me of the Apprentice 5 when The Donald forgot he had a contestant named Pepi and he sarcastically touted the fact)

I hope Michel give them a kick in their arse...

Bond,
I'll be candid with you (and the rest of the crowd here).

One of the reasons you only see a couple of us here is because not all of the mods post, but they do pop in and moderate from time to time.

I'll have to be honest and say that many of the mods who don't come here that often are too busy earning the big bucks.

It might be safe to say that the frequency of visits to the copywritersboard by mods may be directly porportionate to the amount of money they make in the business world.

In other words, the ones who stay away are out making a living doing other things.

As you probably have noticed, I spend way too much time here when I should be out earning more money instead... Once I get a few of my JV products launched I'm sure you'll see less of me as well.

I'll still show up as a mod, but will have less time to comment on posts.

I hope this makes some sense.

Tim was just here a week ago and he is very active behind the scenes.

Unbeknownst to the rest of the members... when ever there is a reported problem or a special situation that needs attending, all the mods are notified via email (I think).

There are things that go on behind the scenes that you are just not aware of.

As far as telling Michel how to run his board...

Come on Bond, what are you trying to accomplish here?

lol....

Isn't that the truth Stephen

I used to be on my industry's forum and everyone would be telling each other how they should be doing things. Meanwhile, there they are at noon, 2pm, 3:15pm, 8pm and 1am... running a successful business does not allow such wastes of time.

I love this forum, but I can't wait until I do not have time for it.

We all know you're not much of a moderate... LOL!

I say more of the orange gladiator persuasion.

PS - looks like your mojo is back in full swing!

Stripped of titles?

Heck... I'd just like to see Alan stripped of his kilt!

No self-respecting Texan would be caught in a skirt.

(come to think of it... that second sentence up there didn't sound too good!)

I dunno JP.

I think as long as you have the braveheart hair thing going on or the titan/spartan muscular look, it kind of cancels out the femininity.

It also doesn't hurt to have an accent from the U.K. when donning such attire.

Actually, I think Alan looks pretty cool with the braveheart locks and all.

As far as Texans or "southerns" wearing a kilt, could you imagine seeing Larry The Cable Guy in a kilt?

I shudder at the thought of it.

By the way, If you haven't seen the movie, 300 yet, I suggest you go see it. It will change the way you look at guys in skirts.

I dare you to tell this guy he looks like a girl! LOL

Looks like Poland has an issue with it too.
Calls are growing in Poland for a ban on "men in skirts" because drunken Scottish flashers have been upsetting locals. - IOL
