Default Need help with the sales automation process... - 03-14-2007, 09:06 AM

Hey everyone--as many of you know (and already took advantage of), I'm about to release my Catalog Copywriting Secrets course to the masses. But I'm having a little trouble setting up the sales process...

When I offered it to my list in a discounted pre-sale, it was very simple: prospects watched a video, were forwarded to a PayPal page, money was exchanged, then they were forwarded to my DLGuard download page and added to my autoresponder list. This worked pretty well.

For the mass release, I want to do the video thing again. But now I want to give it a couple more twists. I want to A) forward to an order page that offers 2 choices--the normal level and an upsell level--and B) keeps track of which sale came from which JV partner.

Anybody know of a sales system process that's VERY easy to set up and maintain? I'm currently messing with PayDotCom, but it's giving me fits (and HORRENDOUSLY slow). Remember--this is a guy who thinks HTML stands for "hold the mayo and lettuce" so be gentle.

Jay,

I use GoldbarOne -- it offers multiple gateways... physical and downloadable products, etc.

Example: I'm using it to sell everything from $14.95 books to $5,000.00 deposits for my coaching program. You can configure it to "drop down" with options for multiple gateways - including your credit card provider and paypal.

Very cool...

And it's a fully integrated ecommmerce, responders, referral script, affiliate program -- and a whole lot more.

See: http://www.goldbarvip.com
(free trial)

If you want further tips, you have my private number - call me.

Hi Jay,

I'd consider going with Amember.com. It's a membership script which they will install for free for you.

It would help you a couple different ways:

* built-in affiilate software and tracking.
* works with all of the major payment gateways, including PayPal
* you can offer different price levels or packages
* you could offer "lifetime" updates for your course which they would login to access. Any one asks for a refund, you just turn off their access.

Hope that helps,

Mike

just a comment on GoldbarOne -- an associate of mine uses and because of the way it formats links in text email messages, his autoresponder messages to me always end up in my spam/junk folder. That's with my yahoo and another POP mail account. Do testing if you do decided to use it. Other that that, he loves it.

Mike,

That's good (and useful) feedback.

Do you know if it's links where he's turned on "track click-through" or something? That would make sense -- but aweber does the same on theirs.

I'm going to share this with Marc Goldman (he owns Goldbar, and is a partner of my at JVDealmakers.com). He'll be interested to see this too.

JP
