Exclamation What's Your Favorite Quote? - 09-29-2006, 10:00 AM

Do you have a favorite quote?

Care to share it with the forum?

I have several, but these two are my favorites:

"I like thinking big. If you're going to be thinking anything, you might as well think big."

Donald Trump

"Arise, go forth, and conquer!"

Alfred Lord Tennyson

One of my favorites has been attributed to Henry Ford and others (perhaps someone can speakup on who really said it).

"If you think you can, you're right. If you think you can't, you're right, too."

Or something like that.

I also like Zig Ziglar's "Timid salespeople have skinny kids."

Those two come to mind. There are lots of others I like as well, so I don't know if I have an "all-time favorite."

Thanks, John!

I'm familiar with that quote. It was Henry Ford who said it, but it goes like this:

"If you believe you can do a thing,
or you believe you can not,
you're probably right."
-- Henry Ford

I'm a sucker for a good quote. Two of my favorites:

"Nothing is impossible to him who will try." -- Alexander the Great

And the quote in my signature.

Cheers!
John

Silly or otherwise, I didn't set any ground rules, so anything goes!

I have at least two:

"If one advances confidently in the direction of one's dreams, and endeavors to live the life which one has imagined, one will meet with a success unexpected in common hours." Thoreau

And from his buddy Emerson:

"A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds"

A.
