As many of you know, I recently wrote a letter to the forum apologizing to everyone for basically making an "ass" of myself over these last few weeks.
However, I never really apologized to Michel Fortin. After all, this is his forum.
So continuing my theme of doing the right thing, this is my letter to Michel:
Dear Michel,
I'd like to offer you my apologies as well. I'm sorry.
But I'd also like to thank you!
During this recent period when I was basically looking to start a fight with anyone who'd dare challenge any of my posts, you never intervened, not once.
It would have been so easy for you to step in and temporarily or permanently ban me from the forum, which quite frankly, would have been no less than I deserved.
But you didn't do that. And for that I thank you!
Well, I finally came to senses, did the right thing and apologized to the forum.
But from that ugly experience, I learned 3 things from you, Michel.
Here's what I learned:
1. Don't over-react.
2. Remain cool, calm and collected at all times.
3. Exhibit extreme patience and let the situation play itself out.
So Michel, thank you for teaching me 3 very valuable life lessons that can also be applied to business.
All the best,
Dale King
