Default I'm sick and tired. . . - 08-17-2006, 06:10 PM

I'm sick and tired of getting email notifications after I post in any thread. I've been in my control panel and looked at "edit options" and see this:

When you post a new thread, or reply to a topic, you can choose to automatically add that thread to your list of subscribed threads, with the option to receive email notification of new replies to that thread.
Default Thread Subscription Mode: NO EMAIL NOTIFICATION

I selected NO EMAIL NOTIFICATION and I still get e-mail notifications from every thread I post on. I don't need to or want to subscribe to any thread. I don't need EMAIL NOTIFICATION of any response.

I'm sick and tired of seeing this:

Someone please turn the god dayem thing OFF. Thank you.

(I never received these notifications under my old nick.)

Try "do not subscribe." Also, make sure you don't have any threads you were subscribed to with your old nick, and now replying to with your new nick. I will try to fix it...

Michel, I did try the "do not subscribe" a few days ago and it didn't work. I've switched to "do not subscribe" again and applied it. I'll see what happens.

Nothing is coming from my old nick, since I wasn't allowed to change my nick because my old nick's e-mail addy was in your database of addys so I had to use a fake junk e-mail addy for my new nick instead my real e-mail addy (which is no big deal).

Funny, I always thought you'd be a little older...and a bit squishy around the edges.

Oh, well, it's great to FINALLY put a face to the name!
