Elsewhere, JP posted a letter by Gary Halbert, about all the cool things you can do on the internet. Gary asked about other cool things you could do online, so I figured I'd start a thread on it.

I found this site that's pretty cool. You've heard of "6 degrees of Kevin Bacon?" This site has an engine where you put in the names of any two actors (living or dead) and press the button and it connects them together.
It's at: http://oracleofbacon.org/star_links.html You can take 2 actors that you'd NEVER think are connected and find a connection.

Here's an example: I typed in Buster Keaton and Jim Belushi. And I got this...

The Oracle says: Buster Keaton has a James Belushi number of 2.

Buster Keaton was in Lovable Cheat, The (1949) with Fritz Feld
Fritz Feld was in Homer & Eddie (1989) with James Belushi

and...

Howard Stern and Ronald Reagan...

The Oracle says: Ronald Reagan (I) has a Howard Stern number of 3.

Ronald Reagan (I) was in Rear Gunner, The (1943) with Burgess Meredith
Burgess Meredith was in Across the Moon (1995) with Richard Portnow
Richard Portnow was in Private Parts (1997) with Howard Stern

Granted I can't think of any way to turn this into marketing... But it's still kinda fun.
