Funny coincidence I want to share with you.

I've been a Gold+ member of Dan Kennedy's inner circle for several years. And last weekend I spoke at the Big Seminar in Los Angeles, alongside, among others, Joe Polish.

And it struck me...

Does Dan Kennedy pick his members because of their names (LOL)? For example, most platinum members have names that coincidentally sound like puns. For example:

Joe "Polish" -- Carpet cleaning business
Rory "Fatt" -- Restaurant business
Bill Glazer (almost like "Blazer") -- Men's clothing business

And a few more.

Funny, isn't it?

Kennedy is brilliant.

Nothing that guy does is without purpose. He intimately knows all the subleties of influence.

Nothing by accident. Whenever he makes a side comment I wonder what the purpose is.

I was just listening to him on CD and he specifically said...

I still think you have the best name for the restaurant buisness, Rory Fatt. To bad your not actually fat. He went on to make a few more unique comments.

When my girlfriend came home I told her the story. Here I am writing about it in your forum.

Do you think he knows that that type of thing will get talked about...absolutely he does.

Coincidence...I think not!

It is subtle, what I call Indirect Persuasion. Understanding it can really help our copy.

wouldn't it creat a credability gap when your going to meat someone named rury fat .. and there infront of your is some skinny guy .

There's a dentist here named... Paine.

And, the doc who delivered my daughter (c-section) was named... Staples. (but he used sutures)

And...

I get called "JP Morgan" -- a lot! Sometimes for fun... sometimes people actually confuse it.

Not a bad confusion, I think!
