Default Too much "screen time" - 06-27-2008, 04:52 PM

You know you've been spending too much time in "Firefox world" when you have an episode like I had today...

I was driving to a lunch meeting, listening to Dan Patrick on the radio.

I also like to listen to Colin Cowherd, who is on at the same time.

Here's what happened:

For a split second, I took my hand off the steering wheel, wholeheartedly intent on pressing CTRL - T to open another tab so I could toggle between shows.

Don't hassle me too much. It was only for an instant! Then I snapped out of it.

Anyone else have a computer tan? Care to share your stories of overuse and lost eyesight?

The funny part is you relized you where doing it .

I have been playing online role playing games for years .. only recently been able to play the graphical ones. Mainly world of warcraft at the moment . Gaming language is worse than military with the use of acronyms . i will use game speak without anyone noticing.

now the worst slip is when you acctually say lol ......

It's great to make other people rich(er). Just make yourself rich doing it!

Ha. Yeah, except not until I was secretly and privately embarrassed about it.

Isn't it funny how you can do something that you know no one else noticed, but still be a little embarrassed inside?

When that happens at the wrong time, it can really throw you off your game. Especially in a business setting. Or like a poker setting?

And it can be especially problematic if you are a blusher like me. This red mug can be seen from a mile away. Ha!
