I was about to purchase the 12 month millionaire program but noticed they only accepted paypal and they were based out of Spain.

I noticed they had a buyer reputation of 8, which means only 8 people purchased. Is that an accurate assessement:

Seller Reputation: 8 Verified Buyers

Seller Reputation
The Seller Reputation Number measures how many Verified PayPal members have paid that seller. New transactions are added 30 days after they occur, to ensure that the Reputation Number reflects successful exchanges.

Should I purchase? Is it Safe? I was under the impression from Gary Halberts message that they basically sold so much they were in a frenzy to get more made up???

How long did it take to receive after ordering. Maybe I'm just being paranoid but want to be sure first.

Thanks,
Carl

Carl,

This product was made available as an online purchase only around 30 days ago...which would explain why the buyer reputation is only showing 8.

This thread has been going for considerably longer than 30 days. And, surely a successful marketer can get more than 8 sales in 30 days.

Without commenting on the quality of the course (because I don't know), I'll just say that the 8 sales is from "Verified PayPal Members".

It is likely that many purchases were from non-verified members or even non members at all. (PayPal does not require you to be a member to buy through them.)

Have any of you even bothered to do a Google or other search to see who is Vincent James?

Is he the same as Vincent Passafiume, the penis enlargement guy who was prosecuted and convicted in Arizona?

www.azag.gov/press_releases/oct/2002/102402.html

www.cp-receivership.com/faq.htm

Isn't he also banned from doing any Internet business?
Are there any pending prosecutions?

It seems that the many "gurus" that are promoting this scheme have done no research and have no idea who Vincent James is or was?

I find it hard to even think of associating with someone who was a major contributor to the need for CAN-SPAM, aside from the other issues.

Default Vincent James Passafium ordered incarcerated. - 09-01-2005, 01:49 PM

I found this searching for his name. He is an obvious criminal, doesn't surprise me he has friendships with halbert either. All these guys do is manipulate fraudulent fantasies to extract "fungolas" from the weak minded, and those who "deserve" to be ripped off in their minds. Anyone can make money in copywriting when you are a manipulative fraudulent fantasy creating leech, but if thats how you want to live and die, thats up to you, if you choose that path, you certainly won't be alone.

Max.
------

Crime doesn't pay?
Penis pill entrepreneurs can make millions ... but they're playing fast and loose with the law.

This past spring, Arizona state and federal agents seized assets of C.P. Direct, Inc., a company which marketed supplements for penis enlargement under the name "Longitude". Geraldine Consoli, Michael Consoli, and Vincent Passafiume, the operators of the company were accused of fraud, theft, money laundering and racketeering.

The company had been charging $59.99 plus shipping and handling for a month's supply of Longitude - but the pills only cost $2.50 per bottle to produce.

The seized assets included luxury cars - a Lamborghini, Rolls Royce, Ferrari and Bentley - $20 million in bank accounts, $3 million in cash, and jewelry.

This was not the first time the threesome had run afoul of Arizona law. In 1996, the Consolis settled consumer fraud allegations with the state; in 1999, a Superior Court order prohibited the Consolis and Passafiume from doing business in Arizona through the mail or Internet.

But in November Passofuime was alleged by the Arizona State Attorney General's office of yet again setting up shop, this time selling penile enlargement pills under the name of "SizeMax"

The AG's Office seized assets belonging to Passafiume (using an alias, Vincent James), his girlfriend Suzanne Rye, Christos Marinakos and companies Aero-Link Arizona, Inc., Aero-Link Nevada, Inc. and Pharmalux Corporation.

Agents seized more than $80,000 in cash. SizeMax took in more than $800,000 in sales in a six-month period.

Once again, Passafiume has been prohibited from running a business in Arizona. Think it'll work this time?

receivership notice and incarceration notice here

http://www.cp-receivership.com/

"Michael Consoli and Vincent Passafiume were ordered to be incarcerated for 6 months in Maricopa County Jail from 7/06/2004 which will be followed by 5 YEARS of supervised probation."

He got off easy, like most white collar criminals.

Looks like product he is pushing is probably his attempt at making some fast cash, since he must have just got out of jail recently going by that incarceration date above. He most likely got most of his assets seized last year before incarceration.

Max.

P.S. update, found more stuff on him.

Good Research! But if you read his salesletter at:

http://www.12-month-millionaire.com

You can notice he is not trying to hide this fact:

"The Amazing Money-Making Secret of a 28-year-old Convicted Felon Who Earns More Money Per Year Than The CEOs of FedEx... eBay... Amazon.com... Time Warner... Apple Computer... McDonalds... Microsoft... Nike... Yahoo... Ford Motor Company... General Motors... and Goodyear COMBINED!”

Yours in profits.

Here's my two cents on this topic...

First of all, I did get the course as a gift from
a friend... and... all I can say is that it has been the
most profitable marketing education I've gotten in a
long time.

The chapter on how to do automatic shipments is worth
a fortune.

Imagine: You can literally break even... or... even lose
money on initial promotions... only to make hundreds of
thousands of dollars by really understanding how an autoship
back end works.

And there's more!

If you do direct mail... this course even tells you how to
tell if you have a profitable campaign within 7 days instead
of waiting the usual 30 days.

I could go on and on. But the truth is that people who really
want to learn how to do direct marketing properly will get
their hands on everything they can learn from.

Another important thing about this course is that it's written
by someone who is making money NOW in the current
direct marketing environment. That's crucial info.

Whether you run your own direct response promotions or
write copy for clients it's absolutely mandatory that you know
what's working NOW to get people to respond and buy.

But, like Vince says, most copywriters and pretend marketers
don't know sh*t.

And, as far as I'm concerned, that's good news for the rest of us
who are learning everything we can and using it to make a ton
more money than we would otherwise.

Okay, I'm done ranting and raving.

John

My problem is not with the fact that he is or was a criminal.

The problem is with his material. Why would I want to learn how he made the money if that same process caused him not only to lose that money but have to suffer long term restrictions? The net result is that he lost more than he made. Why would anyone want to learn how to lose money?

That his methods failed is proven by his conviction/ convictions.

That he has not learned how to do it properly is evidenced by his multiple prosecutions and investigations etc etc, isn't it?
