I know that wasn't your point at all but everything is much or less a competition in this world. You may as well just take it to the next level.
Yes I'm a tad bit jelous too, you're really fast! |
Max, you need a deeper understanding of golf. Golf makes making money online look like a childish game.
The fact is I'm good enough to play on tour, but the reality is it's not a desire. And that's because you have to practice for HOURS every day. Golf is a game of inches, it's a game of misses.
I'd rather stick at the amateur level and have fun and not be forced to play for a living. And to be honest, I can make way more money in business. Golf pay sucks unless you're top 50 in the world. And to get there good luck living a family life, it's an enormous sacrifice and more work than anyone could imagine.
But I'll put my hat out there and try to qualify for the majors and play in the big tournaments soon, but I don't think I could ever express the commitment it takes to take it to the PGA tour level.
Another tricky thing about golf is this. Can I beat Tiger Woods? Yes I can. But here's the truth, I could only beat him probably 1 out of 20 times.
And that's what seperates those guys from people like me. His miss will be off by 5 yards, mine will be off by 25. If he hits a bad drive it's in the rough. If I hit one it's out of bounds. PGA Tour level consistency is UNREAL.
I'm just not willing to be on the course 10 hours a day 7 days a week and eat, breathe, and sleep it. It takes the fun out of it for me.
Sorry for the long post, but there's a lot of misinformation out there about this.
