The footage was shot two weeks ago. We still have considerable snow in the woods, and ice still covers half of the lake.

Very AWESOME video!
Not everything needs to be super hyped up and you
just proved it. I bet that video would resonate with
a ton of people who just want some honest answers.
And I know the feeling about living in the woods. My
house in Oregon is quite similar. Being able to walk
into the natural forest and walk for 4 days and see no
sign of houses or cars is quite an amazing and peaceful
thing.
The only thing I think you should do differently is to add
a "LIVE LINK" in the "description" area of the video.
You have to make sure to include the "http://" part, and
put it as the very first part of the description so people
can see it.

Thanks for sharing that video, Marcia. It was nice to see a quiet internet marketing lifestyle.
Seeing your woods reminded me that the migrating birds will arrive in a couple of weeks, which for me is the first true sign of spring. You must get a huge assortment there. I can't wait until the white-throated sparrows descend on our yard and spend a couple of weeks here before moving on to Canada for the summer.

Hi Marcia:
Very cool vid. I recently made the jump to full-time freelancing and your video definitely resonates with the happiness that I feel every day that I am working in this field.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone! And thanks for fixing the link, Andy.
Anita, my favorite birds are the great blue herons, which have a wing span of about six feet. I'll also be watching for bats, as I heard many of them have been sickened and died from some kind of disease. Watching them come out at dusk, I understand the saying "like a bat out of hell."
We don't put out bird feeders, but most of my friends do and this is the time of year that they have to take them indoors because the bears start wandering around looking for food.
To someone who lives in the city, my bear stories sound unbelievable, but I really have had a yearling bear show up at my open office door and we were separated only by a screen. Another time I came back from running and heard, then saw a bear just 20 feet away from me in the yard.
