I have two “.uk” domain names that have come up for renewal:

www.write4you.co.uk

www.words-that-work.co.uk

I don’t want them, so I thought I’d offer them to fellow writers here. If you fancy either one please have it on “moi.” The names have been detagged but the registration can be renewed as long as it happens before December 21st.

I phoned Nominet and apparently we could do a transfer for a fee of £35 (you pay!) and then a renewal fee of £94 if you do it direct with them. However your own ISP would probably get it much cheaper.

The advantage would be you secure the name for yourself before it lapses and goes off into cyberspace eventually to be taken up by someone else.
