Leah...
Good for you!
One thing I have learned (fortunately, as I have a tendancy toward impatience) is to "trust the process" ... trust that, as long as you're doing "what it takes", you have set the process in motion, even if you can't see any results, yet ... and things will happen.
If you want an analogy ... think of an old steam engine. You've filled the boiler ... you've built up a great, roaring inferno beneath it ... and now, as far as you can tell, nothing is happening.
But the process IS in motion.
The water has to heat ... steam must be produced and allowed to build to a sufficient 'head' ... and THEN you will see the results, as that pressure, applied to the machinery of the engine, finally starts to turn the wheels.
If, instead, you decide that you're just wasting fuel ... wasting your time ... that nothing good will come of your efforts ... and you stop stoking that fire...
The whole process will come to a halt ... before it has had a chance to produce the desired result.
If you've not read Wattles, yet, do so. (A gentle recommendation, only.)
And "trust the process".
- Al
PS - Oh ... and the occasional "kick in the arse" helps, too.
