Hi Rezbi -
I'm not sure how many of the attendees are active on this board.
I can say that they were an enthusiastic group - many of them brand
new to copywriting - who devoured everything Harlan taught.
Success mindset, marketing yourself, client negotiations, swiping,
and strategies for weathering the slow periods - he covered it all.
Harlan had asked Anthony & I to be available to help them with their
assignments and keep them focused & on the right path. I've gotta say,
it was one of the most rewarding weeks I've ever spent. It was
exciting to watch everyone "get" it over and over throughout the week.
Harlan gave homework assignments every night - and virtually everyone
participated and were able to get immediate feedback from us on their
work. Here are some pics of what the Bar looked like while we
were there
Catalyst Copy-vegasbar - I'll probably leave them
up for another week.
Of course, as with any seminar, what matters most is what you do
with what you've learned when you get home. There were a range of
folks - retirees exploring copywriting as a next career option, single
parents with a LOT more going on in their lives than starting a new
business, and of course people who are eager to escape the confinement
(and "security") of the corporate world, and some working copywriters
ready to take it up a notch.
It will be fun to watch everyone join the ranks of professional copywriters -
and each and every one of them are capable of taking the copywriting world
by storm.
