Default Jay Abraham's "Reunion, Reunion" Letter - 01-10-2008, 11:40 AM

Anybody else get Jay Abraham's "Reunion, Reunion" letter in the mail?

The letter, although short, is brilliant. I've written an analysis of it here:

Ryan M. Healy » Analysis of a Jay Abraham Letter

Ryan

P.S. If you don't have the letter, I've quoted some of it, as well as other copy examples to help illustrate the lesson.

Great article, Ryan.

And thanks for introducing me to the idea of a "scarcity build". Very helpful.

It seems Jay is trying the build the excitement of a launch into
an offline campaign.

From my perspective, Jay's list has been unresponsive the last few
years because once you've heard Jay, you've heard all he's got.

There hasn't been anything new in years.

And people will come once, maybe even twice. But after a while
they realize, there ain't nothing more to get.

And I've heard through back door sources his refund rates are
getting way up there.

What this means is that's it's open season on someone new becoming
the king of marketing.

Maybe it will be you...

Peace.

Harlan

I wouldn't be surprised about his list not being responsive. My previous boss bought a lot of Jay's stuff, but I don't think he's done anything with Jay since 2002.

I remember when we hired Chet Holmes to consult. It never really worked out. (This was back when Chet and Jay were working together.)

Perhaps. But perhaps not. There are a lot of guys more talented than me, you included.
