I made this simple split testing tool and want to offer the members of The Copywriters board to download it for free.

The Copywriters board is the only place where I am sure to get a honest feedback on it. Plus I'm sure there are many newbies copywriters (like me) visiting here who can't afford expensive split testing software.

I've been using it on my sites (about 20) and it works great. Other people who have used it are also happy with it.

It's super simple to install, nothing more than handling your regular html pages really. No irritating CGI or permissions to change or anything like that.

You can test up to 9 different pages at the same time (probably add more soon) and test anything you want on them (headline, graphic, css, free gifts, price, opening, closing ... anything).

It always displays the same page to repeated customers and has few more benefits that many other split testing software don't.

My intend is to sell it for something between $29 and $39. I'll have to test which price is the best. That's why the sales letter has more hype than a free software usually would have. (Professionals please don't laugh at my sales letter )

But before I start charging for the split tester, I would love to get feedback on it.

Hi everyone,

I'm amazed and touched by all the great feedback for the split testing software.

Most of all I was surprised by all the highly experienced copywriters I know from this forum who took the time to try the tester out and contact me persenally with good reports on it. I'm sure I'll get more soon because it's only few days since I listed it here.

This simple software seems to be flexible and powerful enough to be used with very complicated tests.

And although everything has been very positive, I've also received several points about how to make it better. Mostly about the look of the results and how to make them clearer. But also few bugs I could fix to make sure the tester works on every server and for everyone. Plus now you can test up to 30 pages and it's easy to change things around for more pages if needed.

Anyway, I made huge changes on it and have now a split tester I'm very happy with. But appreciate any feedback I get.

I really only joined today to publically thank you for this piece of software.

I'm embarking on my first info-product mini-site and the copywriter I'm working with asked if I had a tool to do this. He said "I live and die by conversions. You MUST be able to get me the stats. Even if you have to do it by hand."

You just saved me about 12 million hours worth of work!

It's EXACTLY what he wanted to see. And as your readme says, it took 10 minutes. And I know jack-crap about web design.

Brilliant script. Best I've found in a very very long time.

I'm heart taken by how much everyone loves this simple script that was only supposed to be a small helper for my own sales letters improvements (they needed a lot of improvements).

Guess it is it's simplicity despites it's comprehension that really is the key.

I finnally finished the sales letter (just have to have it read over for grammar and then split test it) and am now charging low fee for the tester.

Christian - Your script looks pretty darned interesting. From what I can tell, it's only PHP based, however. Do you have an ASP or ASP.NET version?

Does your script require PHP, or does it work via javascript, or a combination of the two, some other way? I couldn't tell from the sales letter.
