Just wanted to share something I found for creating your own product box in Photoshop.

Here's a link to the tutorial.

Good find Primo.

Also, if you need to create an e-book cover just move the right panel over to the left side. narrow it a bit, then fold over the right panel (as in the instructions) and you'll have a decent looking e-book.

Hey Stephen, that's a good find, thanks!

Here's one of my favorite video tutorials for box designs like this from Mark Monciardini's old website. Thankfully the Wayback machine still has this online.

Steve

Great! I've been looking for something like this. Bought CS2 with grand plans, but always choke on the simplest things...

Yep, a monster learning curve on that puppy that's for sure.

I've never read a dayem PS manual in my life...just played with it until I finally "got it." Once I got it, it is the coolest platform for ideas and projects.

The other month I found a cool program that can convert whatever you do in PS into html, css etc almost automatically. I wish I would have known about this program before I bought DreamWeaver. (I hate DreamWeaver.)

Macromedia Fireworks does this.
Just create your layout, slice it up, and save as HTML...

...but I guess you don't like fireworks either, right?

Now that's what I call a smorgasbord. I will definitely be trying out some of these tricks. Thanks Michel.
