Default generous commission - 02-27-2004, 08:04 PM

I have published several books on how to play musical instruments. They are on sale at:

http://andrewscottmusic.com/

My internet partner and I use a Google pay-per click campaign to get customers to the site. This is quite successful, but when people get there they don't buy.

Could it be that our self-generated copy is lacking?
We are willing to share the profits from any sales generated by a new website with a copywriter who can produce a page that sells.

Everything is negotiable.

Please contact me at andrewscott2@optusnet.com.au if you're interested.

Andrew,

If you went into a shop you of course have to walk through the front door. When you get into the shop you again are asked to go through another door to find what you want. When you go through that second door you are asked to go through ... a third door, nuts, thats frustrating!

That is how you site is now. You have to make several clicks before you get any sales copy and THAT will be reducing your sales online.

My suggestion is pull your sales pitch onto your home page anfd get the copy itself polished. Heck there must be a ton of people that would love tuition from an established guitar player like yourself so let them have it without all the clicking,

One more thing: The web is search driven. You must give the searcher what they want right away or they move on. If someone types in "guitar tuition" well you must answer that question for them the second they arrive. You would say something like... " looking for fast, effective Guitar tuition?" etc.
