Ryan PS - I've received some questions via Private Message and I thought I would post some of the answers here, in case you have the same questions. I'm not sure I should be so forthcoming, but that's just the way I am I guess.... Q: Is this going to be a "pitch fest"? A: It will not be a pitch fest. Q: Then why are we doing this? A: We are doing this for two reasons. The first is that there's an affiliate commission we could earn down the road. During the last few minutes (it will be brief), we will mention a site to go to. A recommendation, not a "pitch fest" or a "hard sell." Also, whether we earn any commissions or not, we get increased credibility... from other people speaking well of us (hopefully) or from others perceiving us as experts.
So that's the story. The call will be full of content. The recommendation will be brief. You can even hang up before we mention the site if you want. Check out the main web site for full details. |
I have every reson to believe this is going to be a great call. If I were speaking with a friend, I would tell them to listen up, shoulder in and to make a note, carefully.
I would tell my friend to write down the phone number and passcode to get on the call, as if they were writing down THE combination that will open the door to a sane, stable and high-paying career. A career that could introduce them to some of the most interesting, powerful and wealthy decision makers - that they might not otherwise have the opportunity to meet.
Listen: the business end of copywriting can be nothing short of discouraging, for those who are not inclined toward self-promotion.
Reality check: what good is your ability to write great copy, if nobody knows you exist?
And what good are your efforts at self-promotion, if those efforts require so much time and work to implement that you don't enjoy the business?
I think these guys might be on to something big, here. Or else they wouldn't have invested so much time in such a solid letter
I think they mean serious business and that they really will deliver the goods - short cuts to a much higher income - solid info that you won't find and, therefore, can't get anywhere else.
I'd tell my friend to give it a shot by reading their letter at the very least. After all, ya' never know ...
unless you try.
