I've got a prospect that wants his google ad words re-written. I personally don't have the time to take this project on nor am I satisfied with the proposed arrangement - payment upon performance of ad.

But they are willing to pay up to $4K for it - IF it works.

As I said, this type of arrangement isnt for me but if there are any hungry up and comers that want to take a shot, let me know. Before I write him back, Id like to offer him an alternative route instead of just 'no thanks, good luck'.

Define performance:

Clickthroughs or clickthrough rates (recommended)?

Sales/responses with copy to which ads point? (Not recommended, for you have no control over how they deal/treat their prospects. Plus, if they have backends, follow-ups and other conversion tools or processes, it will become an absolute NIGHTMARE. Trust me on this. Been there, done that.)

This is true which is why I dont want this project. Whoever decides to explore it should define what performance is as Michel wrote. I don't do this type of project because I see nothing but troubles.

I'll give it a shot. I've been doing Adwords nonstop for the past few weeks, I'm still doing it everyday so I'll have no problem taking this on.

I'll talk to them first to make sure I'll avoid the problems you mentioned Mike, these could be trouble if not handled.
