OK, I know there is lots of tracking software for online campaigns. And for ads, I can use a different url in a print ad to track response. But I want to track referrals for people who call in, for instance. I mean I can have someone create a spreadsheet but I was wondering if something existed that tracked a multimedia campaign so I can see if our market penetration is better with our radio campaign for one station versus another.

Of course the offline stuff would require that the staff ask questions at the right time and make a note of it. But I want them to have something that tracks our referral ambassadors and find out the pros who are referring and keep track of that so we can maintain that and reinforce it, but tackle new referral resources with the right message. Without some kind of tracking, I can't evaluate the effectiveness of the campaign and make adjustments to the media plan and campaigns.

Again, I'll make something if I have to but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for and I keep thinking it has to be out there.

Are there any fields in the software that could be used for that. Or could the software be customized to include extra fields.

The software we use has extra fields that could be used for that, then a report can be run.

Our order processing software is custom built from MS access.

I'm either lazy or clueless but I've never found a tracking software that was flexible enough to work in the fields I'm interested in. So, I always end up writing my own web based ones. I usually have to export to print things like direct mail but at least it already ties into my customer lists, which is also web based, and lead generators.

I don't think I actually helped there. I hope I get 1/2 credit for effort.

Infusion should be able to do what you want, but it's not exactly cheap.

I also heard outlook has something or microsoft. I'll have to see that, too.

Perhaps I should MAKE something like this. But I'm not sure there is demand or not.
