I was thinking of contacting my local telephone company but wanted to see if anyone has had any experience with internet companies or other options. |
I used to have my vanity 877 # with AT&T, which ran $30 /month to have it forwarded to my voicemail plus usage. I had to have a dedicated line for the number.
About a year ago, I got smart, started shopping around, and found a company called "connectmevoice dot com"
What i really like about this -is for my recorded line and fax numbers - the service emails me a MP3 file for voicemails, or a pdf for faxes.
Messages are also archived in a secure control panel.
So the voicemail comes to your email! You don't even need a real line - and if you need a phone number (800 or whatever) you can get one through them...
Starts at $9.95/month.
Here's the description: and this is a non-affiliate recommendation.
