Default Click Bank is Plop! CB hundreds - Affiliates ZERO - 04-23-2008, 04:32 PM

Please refer to my post here
X-Posed - Secrets of the Sexes!: I learn something new everyday - 'click bank' is not rhyming slang

which does get to the point eventually, about why I am not impressed by clickbank at the moment.

DOES anyone have success affiliating products as an affiliate via click bank?

I have over 150 hops a day (hops = hits to the unclickbank initiated) and not a single sale. (Though only signed up Friday)

These are visitors who come looking for those products too, so what is the problem? Is it as I theorise in my post or something else?

Don't blame ClickBank.

What no graphic?

So what is the reason then?

Take this site Cross-Dressing Divas

Created Wednesday last week, Click bank Ad added to site Friday

80 hops in that time mainly from cd's as my site isn't getting traffic from Google yet (under 7 days old).

Why no sales?
Look at the ad for the $39 guide it's great.

BUT

I have had sales for the NON click bank product which is $9.95 and yet this Ad is not quite so detailed.

1. Yes. I do as both an author of a CB info product and as an affiliate.

2. Yes. My 12-year-old son successfully markets as a CB affiliate.

3. Yes. My client, Andy Bourland, is President of ClickBank University. [not an affiliate link] The instructors are a who's who of CB affiliate marketers.

Best wishes,

-Mike

Perfectly legal the way it is structured. He's been marketing multiple CB pet niche products. Has own products in other niches rolling out in May.

BTW, you'll discover that blog hop link conversions are typically lower than conversions from mailings to lists.

Yep, but I wont be mailing anything to my list, they signed up for my products not a bunch of spam.

Maybe across the Atlantic pond you've got a different definition of "spam" but in the U.S. it is defined as unsolicited commercial e-mail.

In most instances, signing up for a list takes care of that "unsolicited" part if the opt-in discloses what's included in signing up.

As for the quality of what you send your lists, there are a few copywriters on the board that specialize in creating autoresponder copy that lists want to read (Jay White comes to mind).

I'm not exactly this target market but the $9.95 site looks a lot more appealing.

The other one has a slightly freaky looking photo, a headline that's visually all over the place, and a subhead about developing a womans voice... not sure if that's what many cross dressers want?

Scanning the copy the cheaper one seems to appeal to a broader cross dressing market -- if such a thing exists -- the other one sounds like it's targeting the more hardcore cross dressers... perhaps they are a much smaller market?

Woah... I'm confused.

Fossil, are you a Transvestite?

I don't get it.

Oddly, I built a site called "Transvestite Secrets" a few
years ago. It was a parody with messed up photoshops
of Frank Kern. Funny stuff.

Clickbank rules. Cashed 5 checks just yesterday!
