Anyone know- or think they have an inkling-

What has been the most successful online marketing video to date? I don't mean which one was coolest... but which one converted best or made the most money.

Probably Judson Laipply and his Evolution of Dance.

Several people have told me that he has gotten a ton of PR and made a huge amount of money off it as well.

Thanks, but not looking for viral videos... not looking for parts of some comics' act. Not looking for card tricks with a logo in the corner. Looking for a video that was created to sell crap. And lo and behold... it sold a lot of crap.

But... as the title line of this thread says... looking for a "Marketing Video" as opposed to a video that happened to do a good job marketing.

Well, here's a couple nominees...

The original Traffic Secrets sales letter had product sample & testimonial video clips on it and Traffic Secrets did around 1.2 Mil on the launch.

Not to put him on the spot, but Ken Calhoun has done a number of trading/forex products that use video on the sales letter... and made six figures on each one.

I don't know anyone who has sold more with video in such a fast
amount of time then Kern.

The problem is those videos are no longer available to the public as
far as I know.

The video that did the best is one you guys probably don't remember.

It was for a series of 3 teleseminars Stephen Pierce did with Jay Abraham and Rich ( ) Schefren.

Frank Kern was the top affiliate because he was the first using Camtasia on a wide scale.

It was a different Kern than the one on the loose today.

It was - to my knowledge - the first use of video for affiliate marketing.

Kern probably doesn't even remember it.
