Default Joint Venture Payment Technicalities - 05-15-2007, 06:21 AM

Hi

We're setting up some JV's for our niche websites.
And wondered about the payment side of things.

How do you show the person that you are splitting everything 50-50?
Do you sent them a print preview of your Paypal account?

How do people do this?
Any advice and help gratefully received.

thanks

Beep

Hmm, screen shots are pretty easily faked, maybe you can get some sort of tracking software - depends on which CC provider your using.

I asked Tellman Knudson this in person. He's a millionaire Internet Marketer, if you don't know. He said, "Trust who you work with".

It comes down to trust. You either trust a 3rd party to handle it. Or your affiliate must trust you to handle it.

Companies like clickbank/payloadz/e-junkie/paydotcom will all handle joint venture payment splits. They each have their weak points, but I've never heard the accusation of collusion with product owners.

I prefer to run my own joint venture script. Most of them have enough options to configure things almost any way you envisage. Most offer real time stats, which at least gives a little security to affiliates.

Beep,

You might want to contact J.P. Maroney here on the board.

If there's anyone here that would know about JVs, that would be J.P.
