Default How I made $18K at the Big Seminar in Atlanta... - 05-04-2007, 01:37 PM

...without even showing up!

You know there has been much talk in the past about using these seminars as a networking opportunity.

Go to the seminar... learn... meet people... make deals at the bar. Nice.

Or the cheaper version... go to the town the seminar is in... skip the learning... meet people and make deals at the bar. Nicer!

But I was fortunate enough to not go to the seminar... not network at the bar... not even leave my home, and make $18,000 and that's just for starters.

You see... although I wasn't there, my copy was!

Two of my clients attended the seminar with fresh copy in hand. The general consensus among the marketers who read it was, "Damn... who wrote that?"

And the rest was easy. I got a call from a marketer who hired me ten minutes later, and a call from one of my clients who introduced me to another one right on the phone.

2 letters... 1 squeeze page and 7 auto responders.

And both clients know they have to wait until July.

Not bad, considering I didn't leave my home all weekend.

To any of the noobs reading this... if I could give one bit of advice it would be this... Just make sure you bust your ass writing smokin' hot copy. Work late... work weekends... work hard...

Because once it's out there and other potential clients are reading... it'll do all the work for you.

Vin, I just looked at your website -- green highlighting! Has Subtle been informed of this development?

From the looks of his pic, I'd say a waxing is more in order.

Green is the new yellow. Didn't you get the latest IMI (Internet Marketing Illuminatti) e-mail giving you the HEADS UP?

I'm going to be testing black highlighting -- I think it's the next big thing.

Hey I was going with the whole green theme with my site at the time. I thought... green=money... I'll use green. What the hell... it's worked for me up till now.

As soon as I take a vacation, I'll have the time to update the site. But I'm having trouble finding a yellow that is brighter than every other yellow!

And Ken... I've actually used black highlighting (but for a whole other reason).

Great job Vin!

It's fun watching you grow!

Ladies and gentlemen, Vin has worked extremely hard to build his business. Now, maybe he's writing in his underwear... but he puts in long hours and most importantly, delivers the goods.

Goes to prove, work hard, create value, and the money is AUTOMATIC!

Mike

Thanks Mike.

Hey, I've been lucky. Thanks to 3 great teachers...

Mike... Matt Marshall... and of course my mentor David Garfinkel (I have mike to thank for hooking us up).

Thanks to these three men and 18 years experience writing for non-marketing purposes, things have gone pretty well for me.

Oh wait... did I say 3 men? Of course I meant 4 men. I can't forget the fictional Michael Masterson, can I? LOL
