Thank you, Vin!
Not only is it a ton of crap to memorize, but none of it can really be applied in "real-life."
A quick example: there are, I think, 5 (or so) electronic geometry shapes and 10 (or more) molecular geometry shapes. These are basically three dimensional models depicting the arrangement of a molecule depending on the molecule's number of electrons. For example, if a molecule's central atom has ::this many:: bonding pairs of electrons (electrons that attach to other atoms) and ::this many: non-bonding pairs of electrons (electrons just hanging off the central atom). Not only do we have to memorize all the different 3D shapes and know how to draw them, but we also have to know WHEN to use them and all the different possible combinations -- such if there are 6 bonding pairs of electrons and 2 non-bonding pairs, or 4 bonding pairs and 3 non-bonding, or 2 bonding pairs and 3 non-bonding, or...gah!
Ahem -- the test will be administered next Tuesday, class.

Actually, the biology isn't bad at all, just memorization of terms and concepts...easy.
Of course, I can't complain because I signed up for this, but I know there's an easier path to a six-figure income -- even if it does take 8 years.
Dale, thanks for the link...lots of valuable info in that thread.
Andy & Shawn: that sounds like the ticket (developing marketing skills). Is there a good all-around book that schools you on the essential psychological elements of online copywriting? I don't think a general marketing book is what I'm after; rather, a recently-penned guide with the tactics and techniques that are applicable in internet copywriting (e.g., none of the "marketing your small business" crap) would be on the money.
I don't have $1,000, $500, $200 dollars to throw at a mentor to hold my hand, but I can scrounge up $40 or $50 for a solid, trusty book. Suggestions?
