Hello Studio:

I checked out that website briefly. Here are my own personal thoughts about reciprocal linking:

I lurk on a lot of forums...especially Internet Marketing and SEO forums. And over the last year or two I've been hearing a lot of talk about the decreasing value of reciprocal links and the increased value of one-way links. I think there's some validity to that.

One-way links appear to be more valuable in a search engine's eyes. So, that should make them more valuable to your search marketing effort. But how can you convince a site to link to yours if you've got nothing to offer in return?

Well, you'll have to do it the old fashioned way. You'll have to earn it. In other words...entice site owners to link to your site by providing unique, interesting and ever-changing content they'll want to link to.

Remember, the entire web was built on the idea of one site linking to another, even before there was a search engine related benefit to doing so.

So, what type of interesting content should you provide? Here are a few ideas for you to consider:

Articles
RSS Feeds
Blogs
Free tools and resources
Product reviews
Interviews
Forums
Photo Galleries
Exclusive Reports

By writing exclusive reports, you can get incoming links to your site from VERY high traffic private membership sites or even on free content sites that seek original content rather than rehashed information.

But there is one caveat: You have to offer the webmaster an exclusive report that will only be published on THEIR site. You will not be able to publish your report anywhere else...not even on your own site.

However, it may be well worth your while. This method has the potential to get your content in front of some very large, captive audiences.

And last, but certainly not least...directories. Online directories, especially topical and regional directories, are among the best sources of incoming links anywhere.

Find the niche directories that are relevent to your web site. Most of these directories will list your site for free, or for a small fee.

I'm always dreaming up new ways to get other websites to link to mine. So, in essence, you're limited only by your own imagination!

I hope this helps!
