When I first read Influence, it changed my whole perspective in a big way.
I mean, I had always known marketers out there somewhere were doing things that had effects on me which flew under my radar. (Not to mention con artists too.)
Now I know what a lot of them are.
So I can choose to avoid them as a consumer.
I can choose to use them as a marketer. (ethically, of course)
And, perhaps most importantly, I can educate my future wife on how to avoid them too!
Does that sound like money in the bank, or what?
PS. Another book which is perhaps even more profound, but in a "world changing" way more so than a marketing way, is
Influencer by the VitalSmarts people. Awesome book.
