Default Critique my eBook titles... - 01-15-2008, 02:58 PM

I am down to 4 variations... I welcome any advice you might have. The book, as you can probably tell from the title, is about how to have successful relationships. It is targeted at people that have had problems in their relationships.

1) The Ultimate Relationship Guide: How to find and maintain the kind of relationship you've always wanted!

2) The Ultimate Relationship Guide: How to have the kind of relationship you've always wanted!

3) The Ultimate Relationship Guide: How to have the successful relationship youve always wanted!

4) The Ultimate Relationship Guide: How to have the amazing relationship you've always wanted!

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I vote for #1.

I'm not wild about any of them (although if I had to pick from this list, I'd vote w/ Rachel -- #1)

But even in that one, "find and maintain" is pretty unexciting for a relationship book.

I'd go more along the lines of:

"How to Find the Love of Your Life... and Keep Her Forever"

"How to Create a Lasting Relationship With the Woman of Your Dreams"

That sort of thing.

I would avoid using "relationship" twice in your title.

Honestly, I'd actually get rid of "The Ultimate Relationship Guide" part of your headline entirely... it comes across as a bit cliched.

I still prefer my "How to Find the Love of Your Life... and Keep Her Forever" suggestion.

"create and maintain a relationship" sounds too clinical.

"create an amazing relationship" sounds too vague.
