Default A Critique Please. Badly Needs One ... Or Two, Three, Four. - 11-25-2004, 11:33 PM

OK, first thing, I am no copywriter but I have to write this myself. This is my first info-product. Anyway, here it is -- http://diyebookcover.com.

English is not my mother-tongue. And I think there are a lot of typos and grammar mistakes. But above that, I would love to hear critiques, advice on how I can better position myself, present the offer, etc ...

Again ... it's http://diyebookcover.com

Kidino,

I just looked at your salesletter.

I would prefer that you tell a story within your letter. I think you can do a better job selling the need for your service.

Enter the mind of someone needing an ebook cover.

I'll do you a favor and let you peek into my mind, since I am someone who actually does need some ebook covers.

I do not have a lot of free time, so I am wary of software. My "to-do" list is already stacked high with important things that I haven't gotten around to - I don't relish the idea of a lengthy trial-and-error learning process.

I want fast, easy, simple, and not too expensive. These are the benefits that will get my attention. Hone in on them. Convince me you understand my needs and that you can satisfy them.

Regarding your English, you've done a passable job with syntax and grammer. But...I am wary of purchasing an instruction-based software package from you if I see any lack of English knowledge. It makes me afraid that your instructions may be confusing.

One thing I would suggest: why not sell the photoshop software too? Or at least provide an affiliate link.

That's all for now.
