Smile Help with whether to introduce another topic on my website? - 09-24-2006, 09:56 PM

Hello everyone,

I am working on a natural approach ot skincare type of website.

I will offer online personal consultations in regards to applying the concepts in my book

I was also interested in the field of weight-loss, since I was working on both at the same time. I was wondering if it was a good idea to introduce (on my online consultation page) consultations not only for the skincare portion, but also for weight loss.

Should I just stick to an all skincare related site (this makes the most sense) or would it not be a bad idea to introduce weight loss into the mix? Or should I just have a separate website for this?

The reason I ask is because my eating programs for skincare will also make a person lose weight as a result; I was thinking of the multiple benefit kind of program.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Are you booked solid with skincare clients?

Have you exhausted your market reach?

Yes...add on the weight loss
No...wait until later.

Default Adding Product to Existing Website - 11-03-2006, 09:08 AM

My Friend,

If your wewbsite is mainly about skincare products and has nothing to do with weight loss, and you add it as another product, you will confuse your customers as to what your main theme on your site is and what you are trying to accomplish.

Stick with the theme of your site. If you want to get into weight loss, which is saturated as you may know, it is best to create another website. But before you do, it would be good to do a keyword search on what your theme under weight loss will be and see if there is a need for it. Weight loss is to competitive. You should narrow your focus and create a niche that hasn't been done before and go with that.

Hopefully these suggestions help.

Regards,

Harry Husted
