JP, after 900 posts, it is astounding to me that my lengthy and detailed description of the problem with the word
as you have spelled it, still does not make sense.
JP, your reply back to me about a "PAID QUOTE" sounded sarcastic and snarky, like a put-down, like you were making fun of me, that I was suggesting they call for a paid quote. I understand now that is not how you meant it. I read it as an insult until now, though. Actually, I would
not recommend removing the word "free" altogether, I think it's important. I am just trying to get you to spell it correctly.
free
instead of
fre.e
It doesn't matter if this is going out by e-mail or not. I don't care if you tow it behind a bi-plane!

Spelling the word
free with the alternative spelling "fre.e" gives the purveyor an appearance of being a scammer, a script kiddie, or a spammer. I'm not saying this guy is one of those, I'm sure he is a hard-working everyday guy like the rest of us. Since he is a good honest guy, don't saddle his image with the negative impression that the spelling "fre.e" brings.
I'm just explaining the impression that your spelling gives, and the ramifications it can have in the bigger realm of things. Proper spelling builds credibility. Always has, and I think it always will.
This is just a
spelling lesson, JP.
