Default Please flame this copy. In Need of help - 04-02-2006, 12:12 PM

This is a last minute sale I through together. I am desperately looking for suggestions. It is converting at 4% right now. I am also looking for an affiliate script so I can get others in on this. I desperately need more traffic.

Thanks

Converting at 4%? That's pretty good, isn't it?

This is not a criticism, and I'm NOT trying to start another religious discussion, but you might consider testing it without the overt religious imagery and Bible quote in the header, just to see what happens. The products you're selling have no religious connotation, so there might be some cognitive dissonance.

Just a thought,
Ken

It is not to bad. I guess maybe it is the traffic that is its sole problem. The image is the defult one used in this promotion that has about 1000 people in it. Should I take it off. My newsletter signup is www.guruofinfo.com/easter/ maybe I should incorperate the sales page into it?

You just need a good headline.

Instead of "Congratulations for making it here on time" try,

"Your Easter Gift
$859.34 Worth Of Valuable Products FREE..."

But You Must Act Before The Easter Bunny Hops Away...

Or something along those lines.

You can sell this compilation for up to $97 and that headline will still be accurate.

Kindest regards,

If you mean conversions. Traffic is what gets people here. And I'd say your getting a very good crowd resulting in 4% conversion.

Why, it's that good is a mystery. But as a rule, improved headlines and better testimonials work together with a great offer. You got the offer working I guess, so work on an enthralling headline, and sprinkle the right testimonials in at the appropriate places to bolster the copy.

The newsletter copy is part of the formula. You should include that to get better advice.

I agree.

Non-religious people are likely to wonder when the altar call's coming. Some Christians may feel like you're using God to pike your product. If you want to leave the Easter Bunny, that's ok. No different than Sear's having an Easter sale.

BUT

4% doesn't seem bad to me, so my comments may be off. How are you driving traffic?

Er guys.

The product is selling at $10.

You'd expect a 5% to 10%+ response although 4% could be acceptable.

The obvious thing to do would be to test raising the price to $12, $15, $17, $19 and see how it affects response.

And test changing that headline.

Kindest regards,
Andrew Cavanagh

Oh. That's different. I'm not familiar with conversion dynamics. So, in that case the headline needs to CAPTURE more minds followed with compelling text to lead one through the offer. Rather than just a cardboard box dump of all your master rights titles, line them up as a step by step path to success.

Start with ideas, then e-books, then web site to sell e-books then blogs to promote sites, etc. Explain why each title is added to the dump pile and its reason for being there. Loose the PUMPING of each title and just play up it's dire need for being there. The way its set up now I would just unsubscibe you instantly for dumping junk.

And they never understand why I do that either....

Yeh but do this FIRST...

1. Test the simple headline change...

2. Test raising the prices.

If it's pulling at 5% and you can raise the price to say $19 and stay with that conversion rate I'd just leave it alone and move on to getting more traffic.

I have a $97 product online at the moment that's pulling at around 5% so you shouldn't be too terrified of making changes.

Kindest regards,
Andrew Cavanagh
