Default I would like help from Michel Fortin - 01-11-2006, 12:24 AM

Dear Mike,
Please help.

My site is www.amazing-putting-tips.com

Please review the sales letter and site.

I am out of money to spend on marketing. I have spent thousands on mentors, books, programs, and advertisements. All I want to do is succeed, and I keep losing money, and make very little in profit. PPC is losing money for me. I havent found other sites or email lists to do promotions with.

I have done great at my job, in school, at sports, etc. But I keep losing money in business.

I have read / studied: Napoleon Hill, Earl Nightingale, Bob Proctor, Anthony Robbins, Ted Nicholas, Dan Kennedy, Jay Abraham, Justin Roff-Marsh, Peter Sun, Bill Myers, Sergio Zyman, Corey Rudl, Marlon Sanders, Zig Ziglar, Brian Tracy, Jeffery Fox, Robert Kiyosaki, David Schwartz, and many more.

Please help me understand what I need to do to succeed. Everyone I want to learn from wants me to buy more of their products, and while I love learning and happily pay for someones services, I am just out of money and patience. I need to see some profits, in order to re-invest and grow.

Sincerely,
Matt

or howardroark182@aol.com

P.S. Thank you very much for your time. I admire your incredible accomplishments and success. If you help me, you will have the best testimonial you have ever seen.

You should post this over on the critique forum.

Just a quick note though...way too much copy for a $27 item...in my opinion anyway.

One of the highest responding copies I ever did was something like 17 pages for a $10 report that was only like 9 pages long...

All depends.

But anywase, you should contact golf ezines and such.

If you contact any let me know and I'll give you the link for an affiliate program for a big ticket item for golf that converts fairly well and makes a few $k a sale...

You can use it to earn on the backend with your own list, or whatever.

-Dave

If you've studied the masters like Nicohlas, Kennedy and Abraham, like you say you have, you've missed one of the most important lessons taught. You have no compelling HEADLINE.

Head on over to:

http://www.ohpdirect.com/product.php

And read the ads there. Most have been written John Carlton. Read the 2 putting ads and you'll see what's missing from your ad.

If golf is your thang you now have the ultimate swipe file.

Lastly, the title of your book may offend a lot of your potential customers.

Matt,

Here's a few ideas...

1. Go to Clickbank and PayDotCom and
list your product in their affiliate network.
Let other people do your selling. Offer the
highest commissions allowed. Clickbank
allows 75%.

2. Go to Affiliate-Announce and get your
product out there. Play up the fact that
you offer high commissions.

3. Create a high-priced video (like $69 to
$99) with audios and transcripts. Teaching
your putting secrets.

4. Let your affiliates do the upfront selling.
Which costs the most anyways. Then get
the names and emails of the buyers and
put them on an autoresponder series to
consume the ebook they bought through
your affiliates.

5. After sending them 10 to15 autoresponders
that help them use the info in the book... then...
send them to the website selling the high priced
video, audio and transcript package.

Here's the point...

If you are running out of money... then... get
other people to do the most costly selling for
you. That's the upfront selling.

This way you spend little to nothing upfront.

Then, build up a relationship with the buyers
and sell them a related high priced product
that you keep 100% of the profits on.

Hope this helps,

John

"putt like a god"? ok you've probably pissed off a lot of people right off the bat. that's gotta be the worst title for a golf book I've seen in my life.

bar none. really. change it or you won't sell squat. ah, you don't actually intend to sell anything with a godawful (pun intended) title like that, do you?

agree re study Carlton, your headline's too weak

we don't want to see a huge photo of you, it's irrelevant to the pitch

where's the header? the header graphics look like something lifted off a template, but there's no header title or benefit hook or anything .. why's it there?

also I'd split test a non hyphenated domain name, those have lower credibility, eg hyphenated domains don't sound as official...

formatting, stick all those text links you have on the left at the bottom of the page in 10 point type, they're irrelevant .. and you need wider margins, and use georgia 16 pt font ..

you have to connect with credibility and empathy in your copy, and that's all missing, beyond the title/layout gaffes..

Ken...now you've got my mind working. Because I'm trying to imagine God putting...and all I can think of are the clouds. They must've been putted out of somewhere. Oh this is terrible. I gotta get that out of my head.

Yes, John Carlton is the best golf copywriter around.

One common theme you'll notice among his letters, though is the little-known, unsung hero type of instructor. Doc O'Leary finds these undiscovered golfers with exceptional skills.

Doc isn't the expert. He went out and found the expert for us lucky readers.

The point I'm getting at is have you considered having someone "discover" you? I always had a problem scoring well in golf. Why? putting. I once reached 8 greens on the front side and bogeyed each hole, blah blah blah. Then one day I met Ken who one-putted 8 greens in a row, blah blah blah... I copied his secret technique and ...

Just my 2 cents.

John
