Hi all -
I'd sure appreciate your help.

I've just started my new blog.
Please click on www.my-boss-is-a-bozo.com . As you can see, I've still got tons of work to do.

I need help with the very the top section and my two posts.

I'd like to create a pithy USP for the top section.
How well am I communicating the idea "you can moan here but only for so long - you'll find useful resources here to change your (employment) life for the better....

Thank you.
Howard

Hi Howard:

For what it's worth:

If that's what you want to communicate, it needs to go up top. To me it just looks like a place for people to complain.

From your Site:

Quote:
No actual manager names - nor company names.
Make it funny, light-hearted and irreverent.
And no profanity.
If you're trying to help me, why are you putting conditions on my posts?

(I understand the first and third conditions, but if you want me to buy into your stated USP, I think the second is putting to much of a burden on folks.
...What if they want resources, but aren't seeing the humor in their situation?)

I think you need to clarify your purpose.

But that's just my .02

Hi,

If I can add anything it would be this:

Quote:
- you'll develop sharper conflict resolution skills
- more useful co-worker relationship skills
- workplace navigation techniques to make you more effective
These things sound "stiff" compared to the flow of everything else. How 'bout something like:

- you'll learn how to solve problems
- you'll find ways to "get-along"
- ? (not sure what you're trying to say)

I'm still new at this and thought I'd throw-out some ideas. Any experienced writers feel free to add-to or correct me!

Lisa
