Default Introductions and Question for you all - 01-03-2004, 11:36 PM

Hi All,

I just joined the group last night and have thoroughly enjoyed reading all the great advice.

I'm Jackie Lange, a real estate investor who also created the first membership based web site for investors. Our primary site is www.SellYourHouseIn9Days.com. I've also got several other web sites that target specific niches like preforeclosures, FSBO's, etc... in addition, I have hundreds of domain names so I can market to a niche by masking the domain name.

I'm working on a new site to target luxury houses valued at more than $1,000,000.

I know the visitors to the Sell Your House In 9 Days site just want to see very quickly what's in it for them ( benefits) and some testimonials that prove we can do what we promise - close within 9 days. I used to offer a free report but it was rarely ordered so I took it down Most people just look at the site for a few seconds then pick up the phone and call.

But I'm not sure that will work for the luxury house owner.

Their homes are usually on the market more than 1 year going through the traditional method of listing with a Realtor. I'll be able to guarantee a contract within 24 hours and closing within 60 days. ( because we buy it) Plus we have offices nationwide so that gives us instant credibility.

Any suggestions on how to convey our message? Short copy? More details? How to get them to pick up the phone and call.

Thanks in advance

Jackie

Hi Jackie.

A friend of mine went through the high-end mill about a year ago or so. His experience was similar to the one you describe.

His desires were the same as anyone else's might be. He wanted to sell as fast as possible, but at the right price, so he could get on with his life. He wanted the deal to be simple.

Everyone told him his price was too high and that he would have to suffer a little to sell the house quickly. He countered by telling them he would periodically add a per centage to the price, so they had better sell it fast. I think it took around a year and two price increases.

He just wanted a done deal.

If you can do for high-end owners, what you do for others, I don't think you have to worry about your copy as far as having to write something "special". State your case and offer proof of the results. Sell results.
