Hi!

Im Jay and have been doing IM for around 2 years now.

Copywriting? I started getting into this maybe 3-4 months back.. Im still a Noob!

I have a degree in Legal Mgt and an MBA which are next to useless unless I get back to being an employee- something that I'd rather not do.

Sales experience? I have been at this for around nearly a decade now. I also have strong NLP/Hypnosis and other persuasion backgrounds.. But really Im most active in the PUA/Seduction communities...

My problem now is how to as quickly as possible translate those persuasion systems/technologies i've learned into Copywriting!

Ok so I'm Sarah, 26, Scottish and living in Southern Spain.

I've been copywriting for nearly 6 years but I'm not a millionaire...yet!

I love what I do and have to drag myself away from it sometimes just to make sure I'm sharing myself around enough between friends and family!

Pet hates - improper grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc. And people saying they are a copywriter when all they do is write general articles.

Hobbies - playing with my daughter, dyeing my hair, cutting my hair, playing pool, watching films, learning as much as I can about everything!

My husband is very supportive of what I do, despite the sporadic nature of the freelance world. He knows how bad I want it, which helps immensely.

Not very qualified academically: did 3 years at University of Glasgow, modules relating to bioscience, amongst others. Also started the AWAI's six figure copywriting course but was too eager for real work to finish it!

I branched off into grant writing for a stint but came back to general copywriting cos I missed it!

My biggest successes include getting a client on TV and Radio through a press release I wrote and a 25% increase in sales for another client.

I hope joining this board will boost my career a bit, get me a bit more exposure and provide an opportunity for me to learn more about the wonderful art of copywriting!
