I'm waiting to see if Subtle can top his last 'comments'.

You know, you've got a point.

He's been unusually quiet...

Is he unwell?

John, love the new pic.
A Warrior board member by the name of Guy McIntosh drew it for me. He's extremely talented. Here's his site for anyone who is interested:

Hand Drawn Portraits From Your Photo

John

P.S. Oh, I see he added my drawing to his blog. Lots of other samples there as well.

Mine is a photoshop filter. Maybe I'll get a sketch of me sometime in the future.

3 quick points about this thread:

1. Eric, it took me a couple of days to realize your face wasn't horribly disfigured in a fire after I first saw your picture.

2. Rezbi's second statement back as a reply to annemoss is really funny. Annemoss, google "morse code translator".

3. Tony Robbins uses ellipses at the end of each chapter in his book Unlimited Power. I know it's a NLP jedi mind trick telling me I cannot stop reading in the middle of a thought, and that I must now begin reading the next chapter. It does seem to draw you to the next page used in that way.

Rezbi is always picking on me. I think I might even cry except this mask is in the way. By the way, I think I would've won the role as Catwoman if they had not, in fact, been looking for a woman of color. Halle Barry didn't bring nearly as much to the part as I could have. Besides that, she's way too short. I could eat dinner on her short little head.

Eric, I think you might want to leave the photoshop effects alone. I don't think "plastic wrap" effect works all that well for human faces. But John, I do like the sketch. Eric, do consider hiring John's friend.

Regarding ellipses, which I believe was the subject of this thread before a number of you so egregiously digressed into face fashion and morse code, I think that they often positive space in a sea of type. Positive space naturally draws the eye and creates a focal point which is one of the reasons I think ellipses work in sales letters especially.

Yeah, I have noticed a decrease in conversions since I started using it. I guess people just don't want to deal with Michael Meyers.

I tend to like them... they seem to make the writing fit what's coming out of my head a little better
