Default Which Offer Would You Respond Most To? - 03-20-2005, 02:00 AM

Hi everyone. I'm writing copy for an online watercolor course and was wondering about the best way to structure the offer.

I've come up with 2 I think are good, but I'm having trouble determining the one that will push the buyers button the most. Can you help? The site offers a free lesson first. This offer is structured around it.

1. If you like "Reflections in Water," you'll love the rest of our Watercolor lessons! Take our online class! Class is ongoing, costs just $8.95 a month, and can be cancelled at anytime! Sign up now and get a FREE gift!

2. If you like "Reflections in Water," you'll love the rest of our Watercolor lessons! Become a Powell Art member now and learn how to create your own beautiful Watercolor paintings from the comfort of home! Just $8.95 a month! Sign up now and get a FREE gift!

When responding, please choose which offer number appeals to you the most. Thanks a bunch!!

Ed,

As far as I can see, it's the same offer only worded differently - or have I misunderstood? Sorry if I appear to be being pedantic, but I just want to clarify what you're really looking for help with.

Without knowing what else you've said about it or what the product actually is, it's hard to say which wording is better. I think I prefer the use of the word "class" because it conveys something more tangible than being a "member" which can sound a bit wishy-washy and nebulous. But then my question would be "is it really a class" or just a collection of articles etc. Will you be adding lessons each month, or are all the lessons already there?

Janebert

Hi Janebert. It's a lesson library containing over 40 lessons with new lessons added every 2-weeks. Subscribers can login and access the lesson library at anytime. Hope this clears it up for you.
